Where can you use RVC voice models?
You can load RVC models into compatible voice-changing software for games, calls, streams, singing, and recorded audio. The right app depends on the RVC version, your operating system, your hardware, and how much setup you want.
The quick answer
Echo Live, Okada VCClient, and Vonovox all have current evidence for loading at least one type of RVC model. They are not interchangeable: Echo Live focuses on importing RVC v2 models for live use, Okada offers a more technical local client with broader RVC support, and Vonovox is built for RVC v2 on Windows computers with compatible NVIDIA graphics cards.
“RVC,” “RVC v1,” and “RVC v2” are not always treated as the same format by an application. The model page and original download should identify the version whenever that information is available.

Start with an application designed for a live microphone. Echo Live is the simplest fit in this group when you have an RVC v2 model and want to use it during games, calls, streams, or recordings.

Okada VCClient is the flexible option here, but you need to pick the correct edition for your operating system and model format. Read its release and platform notes before downloading.
RVC v2 on an NVIDIA PC
Vonovox is focused on Windows and RVC v2. It requires a compatible NVIDIA GPU and a virtual audio cable when you want other apps to receive the converted microphone.
Audio quality still depends on the model, your input voice, pitch, microphone, and settings. Application compatibility tells you that a model can be loaded; it does not guarantee that every model will sound good for every speaker or project.
Before you import an RVC model
- Confirm the model version. Check whether the download is RVC, RVC v1, or RVC v2 and whether the app supports that version.
- Download from the original source.Use the creator or uploader's model page so you receive the intended files and notes.
- Keep the model package together. A PTH weight may be paired with an index file, and the creator may include specific settings.
- Check hardware and routing. Real-time apps can require a supported GPU, audio drivers, or a virtual microphone cable.
- Read the usage terms. App support does not grant permission to use a model, its training material, or the represented voice.
